NOW AVAILABLE USES: As it is an oxidizer, Potassium Permanganate is useful for water clarification and odor elimination. Potassium permanganate should ONLY be used in established cycled aquariums. It can also be used to reduce dangerous, high organix levels in freshwater ponds and aquariums, most notably "Bacterial Blooms" (Grey, cloudy tanks). It can also be used for fish baths or for swabbing infections caused by bacterium like Columnaris. Potassium permanganate can also be used to treat fish eye infections (cloudy eyes).
