Nalidixic Acid is a synthetic chemical that has anti-bacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria. This chemical is useful for the control of Flexibacter (bacterial gill disease, fin and tail rot, mouth "fungus" and columnaris) and other gram negative bacteria.

Nalidixic Acid should be used at concentrations of 5mg to 10mg/L, depending on the severity of the infection. Partial water changes must be made after each 24 hours, followed by re-treatment. Continue treatment for 3-4 days.
